    Drama is designed to introduce the beginning student to the world of theater.

  • This course will introduce and welcome the student to the language and skill of drawing and painting. This is a studio course involving the tools, materials, and techniques used to develop an artistic and visual language. Students learn to see shape and form, with an emphasis on the elements of design (line, form, value texture, space, and color). Students will also work to develop a strong sense of composition and personal style. Students will draw, paint, read and answer questions from the book, and research artistic movements.

  • This course will introduce and welcome th student to the world of clay. It is a "hands on" course that will cover information on materials, tools, terminology, and both hand-building and throwing techniques. There will also be an emphasis on the use of ceramics relating to diverse cultural history.
